Every four years, a Congress, open to all, is held in one of the member countries for the presentation and discussion of paper on subjects of current significance to waterways and maritime interests. These Congresses are particularly valuable for the exchange of knowledge and opinions for participants of all ages. They are organised in two Sections – Section I for Inland Navigation and Section II for Maritime Navigation.
