This report is the result of an analysis performed by PIANC PTC I, working group 11, on the subject : Analysis of costs of operating vessels on the inland waterways of selected nations””.
An insight will be given in the structure of the inland waterways and of the fleet of vessels of the selected nations, the goods transported by the different modes and the cost of transportation for Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
