NordPIANC 2026 - 9-11 September 2026 Tallinn, Estland
The event
Our event starts on Wednesday evening with a welcome reception in the defensive tower of Fat Margaret, part of our Maritime Museum. The reception also includes a guided tour.
Thursday will be dedicated to the seminar programme at the Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel, followed by a guided walking tour of Tallinn’s Old Town and dinner at the medieval restaurant Olde Hansa. The seminar will also be open to non-members.
On Friday, we will have a shorter seminar in the morning, followed by a short walking tour of the Old City Harbour, and a technical boat tour along the harbour waterfront of Tallinn Bay aboard the motor ship Mojito in the afternoon. Fingers crossed that the weather will be on our side!
Event fee
The full event fee is €300, and it includes the welcome reception, seminar sessions, lunches, walking tour in the Old Town, the seminar dinner and the technical tour. Accompanying persons are welcome to join the welcome dinner, seminar dinner and the technical tour. The fee for accompanying persons is €150. To register for the event, please click HERE.
Accommodation
We have reserved 50 rooms at the Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel at a discounted rate until the 9th of August. Use the code NORDPIANC when booking to receive the discount. The same code can also be used for bookings at the Tallink City Hotel, although rooms have not been pre-reserved there. Many other hotels are also available in the area.

Svolvær, Lofoten, Norway
3-5 September 2024
The Norwegian section of PIANC and the Norwegian Coastal Administration welcomed over 70 participants from eight countries to NordPIANC 2024 in beautiful Svolvær, Lofoten.
Day 1: Arrival and reception. The Kabelvåg office of The Norwegian Coastal Administration (NCA) hosted the reception. In 2024, this office of the Norwegian Coastal Administration marks its 150th anniversary.
Day 2: Technical seminar and conference dinner. The presentations from the seminar are presented below.
Day 3: Boat trip to fairway project Raftsundet incl. eagle watching. Sightseeing in Henningsvær.

NordPIANC Meeting 2022
30th August to 1st of September 2022
After postponing the event the year before in 2021 because of covid restrictions, NordPIANC 2022 was hosted by the Icelandic Road & Coastal Administration.
NordPIANC meetings are biannual events organized in turn by the Nordic section of PIANC with the aim to exchange experience from new and ongoing projects and research in the participant countries.
A total of 80 participants were registered to the event from nine countries.
